How to screen share on Google Hangouts

Share your screen

1. On your computer, open Hangouts at hangouts.google.com or in Gmail.

2. Select a person from the Hangouts list or search for their name or email address. When you find the person you want, click their name.

To start a group video call, for each person in your group, type their name and check the box in front
of their name.

3. Click the video icon .

4. At the top right of the video call window, click Options.

5. Click Share screen.

6. Choose to share your entire desktop or your browser window.

7. Click Share.

If you are in a room with Chromebox for meetings, you can present straight to the video call from your computer.

Stop sharing your screen

Click Stop in the banner at the top of the screen, or click Options: Stop Screenshare.

Update 4/23/2015  - FDA working on vaccine for both humans and Poultry - MN StarTribune.

This strain of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza has killed 100% of a flock within five days.

Current information as of 4/23/2015: This strain can affect both Turkey and chickens.  As of today 4/23/2015 it now has affected chickens in Minnesota.  As of today there has been no avian to human transmission.

Update (4/24/2015) - Governor Dayton has declared a Minnesota Agriculture State of Emergency. As of today 2.6 million birds have been affected.  A mixed poultry flock in Pipestone county has been infected. MDH  is urging people who work with inflected flocks to take Tamiflu, a medicine designed to prevent a person from catching the virus.  So far no human has tested positive for the avian flu virus.

Ebola are moderately thermolabile and can be inactivated by heating for 30 minutes to 60 minutes at 60°C or 140 F.   This is similar to decontamination for bed bugs.   

In medicine, the term "labile" means susceptible to alteration or destruction. For example, a heat-labile protein is one that can be changed or destroyed at high temperatures.
